“ This cart was at Pierogi Fest. They had a big line since apparently they are known for a segment that appeared on Food Network. Their storefront is in Port Richmond but they do have a cart that goes around to events and such. I have never had golabki, which is basically boiled cabbage with meat in the middle. I really liked the red sauce on top of it. The cheesesteak pierogis were delicious as well. I really like how the ketchup had black pepper in it. The guys in the cart were very friendly as well. ”

“ Fist of all we won't talk about the cheesesteak perogies. I'm polish it's not a thing. Their traditionalist perogies are excellent although Polish but who cares they're excellent. I wasn't at their restaurant but at their food trailer and the service was 10 out of 5. Not sure how the place looks inside but I will definitely go. The golimpki was literally the best I ever had even better than my own and better than my mother who was literally an illegal polish immigrant straight off the boat. Can't wait to. Heck the actual restaurant out! ”

“ This place really hit the spot!! You can really tell they make the pierogies with care, fresh to order. I tried their special spicy BBQ Pork pierogies and they definitely didn't skimp on the filling. The add-on Kielbasa link with sauerkraut could be a standalone meal in itself. It's a true hole-in-the-wall, though there are 2 tables out front where you can sit and try your food while it's still warm. ”

“ This is the ultimate rainy day comfort food. I can't say I've eaten a lot of Polish food so I'm definitely not an expert- but I thought the pierogis at Mom Mom's were delicious. They tasted like what I imagine home cooked pierogis are like- or at least this is probably the closest I'll get to homemade pierogis. They don't have any seating but you can sit in Bob and Barbra's for your meal and the staff will deliver it to you there. My friend and I ordered the kapusta pierogi and their daily special, which happened to be buffalo chicken. They were both fantastic but the buffalo chicken was the star. I'm excited to go back here and try more! ”

“ Different cheesesteak item #1067 in the last five years. I owe Mom-mom's kitchen an apology for a few of the bad things I was thinking about her. I'm not apologizing for thinking $16.85 after tax and tip is too much for 6 (5?) smallish pierogies. Standing in the cold having a trunk picnic I thought the pierogies were a little mushy. I took one pierogi home and air fried it. It was amazing. Very good meat mixed nicely with very good cheese. What I thought was ketchup turned out to be very good spicy ketchup. ”

“ Lovely place to try polish food! I don't know much about polish food but saw the great reviews and knew I had to try. This place doesn't have any indoor sitting area - it's an individual stall attached to a building where you can order and pay for your food. They have streeteries for outdoor seating. We came on a raining day to try the golabki - it's a dish that contains a mixed of different proteins wrapped in lettuce leaves, submerged in this delicious tomato soup. It was the perfect dish for a cold raining day! To top it off you can dip it in sour cream - which is a game changer. They might have a small menu but they also have "specials of the day". When we were there it was bulgogi pierogi. Highly recommend this place - it's also very causal and fun if you're looking for a quick bite. ”

“ Had them in my wish list after watching them on Guy Fieri's Triple D show. We ordered two of the Polish feast box. Each had variety of items in them, potatoes and cheesesteak pierogis, half grilled kielbasa, 2 golabki and a lot of sauces and sides. Online ordering and payment was convenient. Our order was ready for pickup as scheduled during the order. We loved the pierogis. They were soft and fluffy. I liked the cheesesteak ones more than potatoes ones. Kielbasa (sausage) was cooked really well. The golabki is a rice wrap that sits on tasty tomatoes sauce. Also vey delicious. We do not get to eat Polish food a lot, so I throughly enjoyed the experience. Mom mom fully deserves to be featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. ”

“ Point blank: Go Here. I could write nothing but positive things about Mom Mom's. They are great food, fast, cheap, and a small business. What else do you need? Oh, their location. They are right across the street from Wine Dive, right next door to Bob and Barbra's, adjacent to the south street pop up beer garden, and like a few blocks away from Broad street. I have had their food as a food truck before and was waiting for this spot to open. They just don't miss the mark at all. It is just a joy to eat there. Yes, do I wish they had more of a seating area, and the shop was bigger, yes. However, going from Food truck to this, during a pandemic was smart. The outside seating doesn't stop them. They hand delivered our order. So, we got the Blueberry Pierogi, deep fried cause it is hot girl summer no matter what you eat, served with sour cream ice cream and some cooked down blueberries. Let me tell you how I drooled over this. I ate it within 30 seconds. That small scoop of sour cream ice cream was not enough. I wanted to order a pint of it. Just go. Order original Pierogis and enjoy. Order the dessert and be happy. They just brought back the elote Pierogi. Just go. Why are you reading this still? Check their hours, and go. Bring a friend, don't.
